New products: The New Arbor 2013 Snowboard Collection

Venice, CA (September 18, 2012) -- Arbor is proud to announce the release of their 2013 snowboard line which features The System technology throughout the Icon and Roots collections along with a continued commitment to camber designs.

The System Technology
Arbor offers “The System” to provide riders with an amazing amount of edge hold in a rocker design that preserves the full-range of performance associated with true-rocker shapes. “We accomplished this by perfecting the true-rocker profile (Parabolic Rocker), while building in real edge control through a unique sidecut (Grip-Tech),” says Arbor co-founder, Bob Carlson. “One technology that can rule the whole mountain.”

The Icon Collection
The Icon True Rocker Collection which utilizes “The System” includes the Draft, Blacklist, Westmark, the women’s Cadence and Poparazzi and the all-new Draft Mini for kids. Arbor is also now offering their first-ever pro snowboard with the Nick Visconti Edition Draft. Arbor’s commitment to camber, and those who want to ride camber snowboards, continues with the Icon True Camber Collection including the Del Rey and Relapse.

The Roots Collection
Arbor’s foundation continues to be embedded in the Roots Camber Collection featuring many of the snowboards that helped launch the brand including the A-Frame, Element CX, Roundhouse CX and the women’s Push. The Roots True Rocker Collection which utilizes “The System” offers the latest technology in the classic Arbor designs including the Element RX, Roundhouse RX, Coda, Formula and the women’s Swoon, along side the flagship of the brand, the Wasteland. Last but definitely not least, Arbor is very proud to introduce their new splitboard. The Abacus is complete with “The System” technology and Karakoram hardware. This beautiful snowboard is already wining awards and is widely recognized as the most stunning split on the market.
“We continue to build on our true rocker snowboard offering with “The System” which we believe is the best snowboard technology option on the market while maintaining our  camber options,” says Arbor co-owner, Bob Carlson. “The Icon and Roots collections offer a variety of solid snowboard options for the jib, park and all-mountain freeride customer and now the backcountry splitboard enthusiast with the Abacus.”
Arbor is 100-percent committed to producing the highest quality Austrian-made snowboards with new technology that truly provides the best riding experience for snowboarders. “For Arbor, it’s not about jumping on bandwagons, it’s about engineering, research and development and delivering products that work,” says Carlson.
