MasterCraft Recognizes Suppliers for Outstanding Performance

MasterCraft announces they have recognized two of its top suppliers, JL Audio and G&T Industries, with the Preferred Supplier of the Year awards. These hard-earned and coveted awards are given to those supplier partners who exhibit exceptional performance in meeting or exceeding quality, on-time delivery, cost and innovative technology goals established at the beginning of each model year. 

The purpose of the Preferred Supplier group is to build long-term relationships with a select group of strategic suppliers that ultimately create long-term value for MasterCraft and its customers through unparalleled quality, reliability and progression.

MasterCraft has created two separate categories for its Preferred Supplier program:

• Preferred A Suppliers are those suppliers that are characterized as having a high
spend, significant intellectual or innovative properties and are extremely important to the
overall operation of the boat.

• Preferred B Suppliers are characterized as having a significant spend and are
partnership minded.

Supplier of the Year awards are chosen based on a mutually created scorecard, which tracks the supplier’s performance against their established goals for the model year (in this case the 2014 Model Year). Winners in each of the Preferred Supplier categories are:

• JL Audio – Recipient of the 2014 Supplier of the Year award for the Preferred A
Suppliers
• G&T Industries – Recipient of the 2014 Supplier of the Year award for the
Preferred B Suppliers
